Daytona Bike Week 2009
March 6, 2009 – 12:53 pmWell, we attended Daytona Bike Week 2009 as the guests of Chapter FL1-H of the Goldwing Road Riders Association (GWRRA) at the Goldwing Getaway in New Smyrna Beach, FL.
The Goldwing Getaway is situated under the shade trees at the northeast corner of the New Smyrna Beach Airport.
It was an interesting show to say the least. The attendance was pretty low. You can blame it on the weather across the southeast or the economy but either way, the hotels had plenty of vacancies. The weather also had an effect on us too…40-50mph winds wreaked havoc on our little tent!
The stars of the show were the Tourmaster Transition 2 Jacket and the Fieldsheer Air Tour Mesh Jacket both in Hi-Vis Yellow. Everyone loved them.
