I have to say I can't complain about the 52-65 mpg that my Ninja 500R gets. The day this was written, I rode 147 miles on about 2.5 gallons of gas. If I had taken my 1993 Camry on that trip, I would have used approx. 5.25 gallons of fuel, and if I had taken my 1991 Mazda RX-7 convertible, I would have burned through at least 6 gallons, and probably more. So I'm entirely happy with my bike's gas mileage. If you want 100+ mpg, get a scooter…

Hello She-rides!

Thanks for posting that. I'm hoping that the motorcycle manufacturers will take a clue, and ADD a few lines of fuel efficient motorcycles to their inventory. I'm thinking that a motorcycle can be cool, throaty sound, AND be efficient at the same time!

Thanks again.
